I heard it said somewhere "there are two kinds of people, people with issues and those without". So, if you are reading this and have challenges you wish to overcome, let’s talk. Whether you're having marital issues stemming from a lack of communication, need help for a child or teenager who is struggling with substance abuse or defiance, or dealing with anxiety or depression yourself-you have come to the right place. I assist individuals to help themselves through their challenges. My approach to therapy encourages clients to experience an opportunity for healing, developing skills, and changing behavior.
My educational and clinical experiences combine to formulate a "Strength-Based" approach towards assessments and therapy. I focus on identifying your interpersonal strengths and then leverage them to empower you and your loved ones to develop the skills necessary to make better choices and ultimately live a healthier lifestyle.
My therapeutic practice area includes pre-marital and marital therapy, substance abuse, and individual and family therapy. In an effort to offer flexibility, ease and comfort I can provide in-home therapy services. In addition to being a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Certified and a Certified Social Worker in Health Care. I am a USMC Veteran.

I am a native Californian who came to Maryland for new opportunities to work with a diverse group of clients. We live in a stress-based culture, with our primary focus tending towards our daily responsibilities, which in turn can leave us feeling overwhelmed. My ultimate goal for you is to help you reduce your stress level by providing a space in which you could vent your frustration, develop skills to utilize in various difficult situations, or learn to be at one with yourself with guidance through the use of mindfulness and/or meditation.
I provide individual psychotherapy and psychological testing services to individuals dealing with a wide range of mental health issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and adjustment disorders. My specialty is addiction, so I also provide services to those with dual diagnoses.
I want you to direct the work we do together. I do not pressure or force things to go in a direction that suits "fixing" you because treatment is a process
