Deja' Moses,LPC

Therapist

Hey everyone, my name is Deja’ Moses a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of MD as well as a National Certified Counselor (NCC).
I completed my Master of Science at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University with a certificate in Marriage and Family Counseling. I have clinical experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families focusing on depression, anxiety, self-esteem, life transitions, academic difficulties, ADHD, grief, or trauma.

My previous mental health experience involves hospitals and healthcare, higher education, school systems, and private practice.

My passion for therapy started at a young age. I have always loved helping people with their problems and providing advice. When I lost my mother in 2009, my passion grew stronger and I have been dedicated since then. I promote resilience, strength, growth, and self-love in all that I do. A wise man once said “it is not how you start but how you finish.” and I strive to guide my clients into rebuilding their new and authentic selves through a strength-based, humanistic, holistic, and person-centered focus.

I believe you are the director of your life and it is never too late to take back control.Through therapy I love to explore the depths of you, your goals or aspirations, and the journey to get here. Although, you may have faced adversities that left you feeling defeated, unmotivated, or over life. I’m here to tell you that your story is still unwritten.

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade has been one of my favorite sayings to live by!
